Colapz, collapsable watering can

One of the very first things I realised I needed when we first started caravanning was a watering can. I only realised this after I had to fill the toilet flush tank with 4 kettles worth of water. Over time, however, we have found a watering can a really useful item to have in the caravan arsenal. We use it to clean the windows, top up Chop’s water bowl and recently we have started to top up the Aqua Roll on a daily basis. Another essential piece of kit to have on board is a bucket. If the tap already has a hozelock type tap – my connector will just click on. And finally if the tap has a smooth end – I kept the rubber fitting on the other end of the pipe....

Too cold to camp ?

The first trip of 2015. and we are spending a cold January away in the Forest of Dean. Based in Bracelands its an incredible -6 degrees outside. and we are all toasty warm. So what precautions have we taken to ensure a trouble free get away ? In actual fact we have done very little, but some preparation before and after the trip is essential. The biggest issue is the water supply to the van. Pretty much everything else has operated exactly as it does when we are out in warmer weather. but do take these precautions when When not in use. Ensure the water tank (if you have one) is empty. Frozen...
