Campsite Arrival Videos

One of the many questions I have when booking a campsite is “what are the access roads like ?” Many of the sites we want to visit are usually in rural locations which means unless we know the area well we actually have no idea what the access roads are like. Google Maps and Street view offer some help, but in many of the cases the camera cannot quite give full picture of the access roads, width or turning circles into the site, which in some cases is down a private road. Such an occasion was Three cliffs bay, where the Google Street View car, simply bypassed the narrow lane that was the only...

Tewkesbury & Friends

May day bank holiday saw us visit a site just on the outskirts of Tewkesbury. Croft Farm Water Park offers hard standing and grass pitches for touring and camping, seasonal and cabin accommodation all situated around a lake. The site contains a boathouse, that offer a wide array of water activities along with a gym, shop and small café area. 2016 year in review.

2016 has been an incredible year for us. It has seen our YouTube channel grow from nothing to a well-established source of information and entertainment for caravanning in the U.K. This year also saw us have some wonderful trips away. Some of which we shared with you on our vlog series of videos. Of course, we didn’t share everything and there is a fine line between sharing every little detail and putting the camera down. It’s a balance that we worked out this year. The year has also had some devastating low points for us personally too. But it is important that we do not dwell on them and...

The YouTube bubble

Let me start by stating I love YouTube. I use it on a daily basis. It gives me entertainment, it provides me knowledge and perspective. As a content creator, it provides a place to output my ramblings and share my thoughts. I really do love YouTube. But, don’t be fooled. Once you are in the YouTube bubble, it consumes you. It envelops you. It encourages you to watch another kitten montage, more Russian dash cams and “in the moment” trends of challenges that people feel compelled to share with the world. It really can consume hours of your life as you hop from video to video. As a creator, it...
